North Bergen HS’s PEAK Students Escape the “Locked Library”

By: Krista Welz, Media Specialist in North Bergen HS

The North Bergen School District’s 5th grade P.E.A.K. Program visited the NBHS Media Center MakerSpace on December 9th and 16th, 2016. Students took part the popular Breakout EDU game, “Locked in the Library”, and had to find clues using the Destiny catalog, cryptograms, and pictograms in order to breakout (this game has been shared to all members in our shared Maker section in the Lesson Plans Google drive folder). Students also built their own mBot programmable robot and controlled it on mobile devices. Students tinkered with LittleBits and Mario Chess! Two days of interactive, engaging STEM activities for students in the North Bergen school district!
