This May, NVD High School wrapped up their school year with one more event- for the preschoolers. The Northern Valley high schools have preschool programs at each of their locations where high school students from their Teens-n-Tots education program can work with the preschoolers and get some hands on experience in preparation for a career in Early Childhood Education. Kristine Lombardi, illustrator and author of Lovey Bunny, Grumpy Pets, and Mr. Biddles, came to meet with the NVD Tots at the end of May. Ms Lombardi gave the kids a mini lesson on drawing her Lovey Bunny character and spoke with them about where she got the ideas for her stories and about her work as an author.

Ms. Lombardi was fantastic & took time to get to know all of the kids. She invited the Tots up to draw Lovey Bunny with her and also provided Lovey Bunny coloring pages.
