Lunch Session with ProQuest open to first 25 registrants, with preference given to BELS members.

How often are you confronted with the need for qualitative resources and tools to help teachers and students get outside of that textbook? ProQuest resources like SIRS Issues Researcher, Culturegrams, Audio Visuals Online, Historic Newspapers…even ebooks can be remarkable, authoritative additions to your offerings. Primary sources can make a history lesson come alive! What really happened in the Civil Rights Movement? When did that happen? Who were the key players? How do the photographs, the music, the art, the personal stories bring focus and understanding to the issues?

We can help with all of that! Join us for lunch and learn how to enliven that curriculum with focus and clarity…help students learn with context, appeal to a variety of learning styles…all without changing the curriculum focus.

Lunch session from 12-1pm followed by BELS meeting from 1-2pm.
