On October 13th, Marie Lu visited Northern Valley Demarest High School and gave a wonderful presentation in the Media Center. She spoke about her hobbies and interests and her five books. She explained her dream of becoming an author and the process it took to get where she is today. She spoke about books and authors who have influenced her along the way and gave NVD the five books she recommends people read. Students spent about 30 minutes asking her very insightful questions which she answered with much enthusiasm. She is currently out promoting her latest book (The Rose Society) and happened to be at NVD on the book’s release date! Students greatly enjoyed her visit.
